Today on June 27th, we celebrate National Sunglasses Day!
Created by The Vision Council, the leading trade association for the optical industry, this National Sunglasses Day celebrates the importance of wearing “shades” to protect the eyes from the sun’s harsh ultraviolet (UV) rays. So how can you celebrate with us at SafeVision? Here are a few ideas:
How to Celebrate National Sunglasses Day
- Wear sunglasses! Sunglasses are essential to protect our eyes from harmful UV rays. While it may not always be hot out, the sun’s rays are always shining, which means sunglasses should be worn year-round when it’s sunny.
