Yes, all our prescription safety glasses meet or exceed industry safety standards (ANSI Z87.1) for high mass & velocity impact resistance, coverage, and optical lens clarity. We prioritize your safety and ensure that our glasses are compliant with relevant regulations and requirements. Additionally, we offer a selectin of styles that also meet CSA Z94.3 standards for Canada. Be sure to look for the CSA category in our online shop.
Absolutely! At SafeVision.com, we offer a range of advanced lens coatings to enhance your prescription safety glasses. These include anti-scratch coatings to protect against daily wear and tear, anti-reflective coatings as well as polarized lenses to reduce glare, and fog-resistant coatings to maintain clear vision in challenging environments. You can select the coatings you prefer during the ordering process.
All our SafeVision & Pentax safety frames can be ordered with prescription polarized or photochromic (aka light adaptive tint) lenses. We highly recommend polarized lenses due to their enhanced glare reduction properties unlike photochromic lenses which simply darken when exposed to sunlight or UV lights.
Industrial safety standards like ANSI Z87.1 stipulate lateral coverage requirements for side protection of the eyes. This coverage requirement can be meet by adding removable side shields or by having them “integrated.” At SafeVision.com we have styles available in either option. Integrated models often look like high wrap frames similar to the design of high performance sports sunglasses. Our styles that feature removable side shields are great for wearing after work too!

Ordering prescription safety glasses from SafeVision.com is quick and easy. Simply browse our selection of safety frames and choose the one that suits your style and safety needs. Once you’ve chosen your frame, click on the “Buy with Prescription” button and then you can customize your lenses. You’ll be able to upload a current copy of your prescription during the checkout process. If you don’t have your prescription on hand, you can provide it later by emailing or uploading it to your profile. Once your order is submitted, our team will begin crafting your prescription safety glasses with Hoya lenses according to your specifications.

The processing time may vary depending on the complexity of your order, lens availability, and prescription requirements. Typically, you can expect your glasses to be shipped within 8-12 business days from the date of order. However, please note that additional time may be required for shipping depending on your location.

SafeVision.com exclusively uses Hoya prescription lenses in our safety glasses. Hoya is a renowned leader in optical technology, known for their precision craftsmanship and commitment to quality. These lenses are specifically designed to meet safety standards and provide optimal visual clarity. We offer Polycarbonate and Phoenix (aka Trivex) lens materials as they’re ideal for impact/shatter resistance vs. plastic or glass. Phoenix (aka Trivex) is highly recommended as it is more chemically resistant than polycarbonate.
